Ho Chi Minh City – Cao Dai Temple – Cu Chi Tunnels – Mekong Delta 4 Days/3 Nights

This tour package is organized for all tourists who have little time in the South of Vietnam but still wish to discover the significant Saigon, to experience the local life in Mekong delta & to get to understand about Vietnam War in Cu Chi Tunnels.

Tour program:

Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City Arrival – Half Day City Tour (/)
Upon arrival at Tan Son Nhat Airport, our tour guide and driver will welcome and transfer you to Ho Chi Minh City for City Tour. We will visit the Re-unification Palace - the home and workplace of the President of South Vietnam during the Vietnam War. It was the site of the end of the Vietnam War during the Fall of Saigon on April 30, 1975, when a North Vietnamese Army tank crashed through its gates, then the War Remnant Museum full of  relics from the US and French in Vietnam wars. We will visit a handicraft factory (optional) before driving back to your hotel in Saigon.

Day 2: Ho Chi Minh City – Cao Dai Temple – Cu Chi Tunnels – Ho Chi Minh City (B/L/)
Pick you up at your hotel in Saigon then depart for Tay Ninh province to visit Cao Dai temple. Join Cao Dai followers to arrange their daily afternoon mass for half an hour and get to know something about Caodaism.

Have lunch at a local restaurant then drive to visit Cu Chi Tunnels, Another name of Cu Chi is “Steel land”. It’s the place where the army troops of the VC (Viet Cong) concealed themselves during the Vietnam war. The tunnel systems were created by local people over a period of years.

This huge construction was a habitation for villagers in the war time. With 3 levels of depth, it was never discovered by the US during the war despite its proximity to Saigon. Visit the fighting tunnel system with your local guide.

If you are that way inclined, you can purchase ammunition and fire a weapon of the war on the rifle range.
Drive back to Ho Chi Minh City for overnight.

Day 3: Ho Chi Minh City – My Tho - Mekong Delta – Ho Chi Minh City (B/L/)
Heading out of the bustling city, we ride along rice field to My Tho, one of Mekong Delta province. Upon arrival in My Tho, we embark on a boat navigating around the small canals in the delta region, which passing My Tho fruit market. Joining in with daily activities of local people and enjoy the atmosphere of water world along the canal and along the Tien river. The exciting cruise continue to Unicorn island, here you can taste many seasonal fruits and enjoy the local traditional music, performed by the islanders. Having lunch at a typical country garden house. Next stops are the coconut candy “mill” and some other local industries in Ben Tre province. Drive back Ho Chi Minh City for overnight.

Day 4: Ho Chi Minh City Departure (B/)
Free time for shopping until transfer to Tan Son Nhat Airport for departure flight. End of services.
